Analysis On AI-Hate

NOTE

❤️‍🩹️ this page tries to explain for AI-Haters and people who hate on others, why Hating is Harmful.

This is my take on AI-Hate, and how to defend yourself from it.

⚠️ NOTE: I will use the word “they” here, to denote “AI-HATER” so:

Arguments & Counter Arguments:

Slop/Slopper/AI Slop
- No need for ad hominem and hostility.
AI is not art
- What about this? Imagine an AI which is trained only by itself[Alphazero-like], and can draw mona lisa. That surely has to be art, right?
- if they say no to this, then, they are saying NO to this too:
  - “Alphazero and all Chess-AI’s can play chess.” (because, their logic is AI means just another word for "Not <something>")
  - “AI is useless in cancer detection, because its slop, and theft.”
- Which is cruel - DONT.
- If AI is not defined as art, then they HAVE to define it universally.
  - If they say AI art is not art, then what is it?
    - if they call it slop, okay. Its clear they are NOT engaging in good faith.
    - But how do they define something[art] which is subjective[opinion/choice based]? Exactly. they simply cannot. Of course they cant.
“But I am justified in hating this because of X-Y-Z”
- Do they know who also thought like that? dictators. Horrible, Terrifying, dictators. “These are not worth anything, so we can bully them!”
- Do they really..want to be a analogue of such a person? I don’t think so.
- So, please. I think we all, want to be good humans. But we have to think about what we say.

And, with all this, I say this - above as a impulsive person Myself. we all do mistakes. The real challenge is not to be perfect, its what they do, when they are wrong. And when they look themselves in the mirror. Can they say “Oh. I hurt someone. I want to apologize to them.” IF they can do that…Then they have won over, ALL my respect. And more. And MANY more people’s respect.

About My life

I am often on hospitals. for treatment, and examinations. Some are serious. Some are things I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. AI, has been a saver for me here. To sit, in a recovery bed, doing nothing, just waiting for horrible side effects, or terrifying examinations, what do they do, if they only have a AI on a phone? Sure, they might be able to read some wikipedia page on something interesting..Sure you might be able to play a game..but..if they are alone? If they love Art as a topic? I do AI-Art. And it is Art.

If, for some reason, they think the idea of hating someone in this situation, is not cruel, then I am sad for them. I am sad, because they clearly never got empathy. And I hope someone gives they it. So they can learn, how cruel it is, to just label people as SLOP without even seeing the person.

It is cyber-stalking to seek out AI-Artists just to hate on them.

(Victims of Cyber-Stalking by the way, might go trough dark thoughts, because of THEIR BEHAVIOUR - would they feel sad if that would happen? Would they want to stop that from happening? What if it would be too late? Hence..The best solution here, is not to hate until its too late..it’s to Stop Hate When they Can. When? NOW.)

A note on the word “slopper”

If they think “People using AI is sloppers! they dont think at all! they cant perform critical thinking!” and if they therefore call people sloppers:
Then why on earth are they saying “slopper!” to others? If its about critical thinking.. Do they ever think: “Wait, what happens to the person if i say SLOPPER to them? do the yget happy? No..they would probably be sad.” <- this is taught in kindergarten. Yet I see so many thinking “I am superior because i dont use AI! so i can say because i am justice!"..No. they are not justice. their behaviour can negatively change someones life. Let that sink in for a moment.

Key Takeaway

it is OKAY to dislike AI. Its a opinion. Its a choice… HOWEVER when it comes to hate and harassment..and threats and targetted harassment it’s NOT okay. In fact, by doing so, they actually sink to a LOWER-LEVEL (Lower maturity) than the AI-Artists. And.. If they seek out(hunting) AI-Artists, or people who use AI, just to hate on them.. They are performing CyberStalking. Which is a Reportable Crime. So, not only for the sake of the Victims , for their own sake, don’t cyberstalk others. It doesn’t end well. I assure them.

Final word

Sorry for this. I just, I am, one, of many AI-Artists, which has gotten hate. I have even gotten threats at times. So I always have a choice: 1) Continue doing what I like 2) Or, become a hater myself, to skip the hate.

My heart can’t Hate. It can’t have grudges. So I CANNOT do (2). It would hurt my heart so much, I Wouldn’t be able to live with it. IF I knew, that i had hated or bullied someone, I Would want to apologize to them, because my worst nightmare is hurting someone intentionally.
